DIRECTION UNDER RULE 9(2)

Pursuant to the provisions of rule 9(2) of the Criminal Procedure Rules, 1953 and 1954, i hereby direct that, which effect from the 1st of January, 1955, the service of all criminal process issued in criminal proceedings instituted by-

(a) a Department other than the police, or

(b) a Municipal Authority

shall be effected by any officer in the employment of the Department or Municipal Authority which instituted the proceedings.
