Resignation and cessation of membership and filling of vacancies
14.-(1) Any member of a Board of Education, other than an ex-officio member, may resign his membership upon giving notice in writing to the Colonial Secretary.
(2) Any member, other than an ex-officio member, who has not on the 31st day of December in each year, attended one-half of the meetings of the Board during the preceding twelve months or during his tenure of office in such months shall thereupon cease to be a member of the Board unless good cause is shown for such absence to the satisfaction of the Administrative Secretary.
(3) Any vacation on a Board of Education shall be filled by the Governor by appointing a duly qualified person to fill the vacancy.
